using your insurance

Many insurance plans cover lactation care as a preventative service, much like a well child visit. When using your insurance for a lactation consult, you will not pay upfront. If you do not use one of the insurance companies listed below, please schedule here.

 
 

When booking, please indicate the type of appointment you would like:

  • Prenatal

  • Postpartum:

    • Initial (lactating parent + baby)

    • Follow up (lactating parent + baby)

    • Flange fitting (parent only)

Currently Accepting:

At this time, OHP cannot be billed and must be a self pay appointment.

*Cigna members need 3-7 days for preauthorization.

You can use your insurance to schedule office (Mondays & Fridays only) and home visits. Out of office fees will be collected at the time of the visit and are not covered by insurance.

After your appointment is accepted, you will be sent forms to fill out. I cannot see you (leave my house) until all of your forms are complete. A delay in completing your forms may delay your appointment or require it to be rescheduled.

Cigna users need at least 3 business days to verify coverage after your intake forms have been submitted. Please plan accordingly.

You cannot book online less than 4 hours before an appointment time or more than 30 days in advance. Text me if you need a same-day appointment.
