Prenatal Consults

  • Decrease anxiety related to feeding your baby (with your body or with a bottle), making milk, or formula feeding

  • Great for figuring out what to register for, what to avoid, and what kind of pump would be best for your needs

  • Recommended if you have had breast/chest surgery or had difficulty feeding a baby in the past

  • We’ll tackle concerns, write down/review goals, and make a plan to meet your goals

  • Unlike a group breastfeeding prep class, a private prenatal consult addresses your specific questions and concerns

  • When? Best before your baby shower or 34 weeks in case your baby decides to come early.

BEFORE THE VISIT

It’s very helpful if you download (and explore) the items in my Lactation Preparation Course prior to your appointment.

The most important part of the course is the Roadmap to the 4th Trimester. This document helps you think about your lactation goals and what you need to make your lactation and feeding journey successful for you and your family.

It also helps you plan for the hard days…because there will be hard days. And some days you just need more support than others!

Need to know where to find reputable lactation and baby info and don’t want to rely on Google? The Lactation Preparation Course is your answer. You will also find a ton of resources (books, websites, videos, podcasts, social media handles) that are specific to lactation, infant feeding, infant development (including sleep), car seat safety, and lots more.

I update the resource lists on the course as I find new…resources…from places with useful, evidence-based information and as I do so you’ll be able to download the new info, up to 1 year after you first purchase the course.
